Joby LLC (“Joby,” “us,” “we,” or “our”) operates the www.joby.io website (the “Website”), including Joby’s application (“App”) (together, the “Service(s)”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit in any way your statutory rights, including your rights to a remedy or means of enforcement.

We greatly respect your privacy and strive to provide a platform that adheres to the highest user privacy standards. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our practices and your rights in relation to Personal Information. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service, accessible at www.joby.io.

Information Collection And Use

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, the Pro and the Consumer’s email address, name, zip code, credit card details, phone number, postal address, and other information (“Personal Information”).

If a Consumer uses JobyPay to pay for goods and services (currently provided by Stripe), we will collect the Consumer’s name, email address, phone number, postal address, zip code, and credit card details used in the transaction. If a Pro decides to make a Sunbit loan product available to a Consumer, we will collect the Consumer’s name, email address, postal address, zip code, credit card details, and phone number. If you participate in our referral program, we collect your name and email address.

We collect this information for the purpose of providing the Service, including, without limitation, the Stripe payment services and the Sunbit facilitated loans, allowing you to participate in our referral program, providing you with rewards in accordance with our referral program terms, identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests/inquiries, servicing your purchase orders, improving our services, and marketing communication. The consequences of not collecting this Personal Information are that we will not be able to provide you with the Services, notify technicians of the job location, send notifications to Pros, allow you to participate in our referral program, or process payments.

Cell Phone Number Usage

In addition to the Personal Information mentioned above, users of the Services may provide Joby with their cell phone number. If users provide their cell phone number, Joby may use this information to provide support services. The cell phone numbers will be stored on our secure servers. Furthermore, with the user’s consent, Joby will also use the provided cell phone number to send SMSs and phone calls for marketing purposes.

Users have the option to opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time. To opt out, users can follow the instructions provided in the SMS or phone call or contact Joby directly by emailing info@joby.io indicating their desire to opt out of receiving marketing communications. Even if users opt out of receiving marketing communications, they may still receive non-marketing communications from Joby related to the provision of Services or support.

Fraud Prevention and Legal Compliance

Some of the Personal Information will be used for detecting, taking steps to prevent, and prosecuting fraud or other illegal activity, identifying and repairing errors, conducting audits, and for security purposes. Personal Information may also be used to comply with applicable laws, investigations performed by relevant authorities, for law enforcement purposes, and/or to exercise or defend legal claims. In certain cases, we may anonymize or de-identify your Personal Information for internal and external purposes, including, without limitation, to improve the services and for research purposes. “Anonymous Information” means information which does not enable the identification of an individual user, such as aggregated information about the use of our services. We may use Anonymous Information and/or disclose it to third parties without restrictions.

Log Data

We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.

We may use third-party services that collect, monitor, and analyze this type of information to increase our Service’s functionality. These third-party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information. We reserve the right to remove or add new analytic tools.

Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this Website, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other websites they used prior to coming to this Website. We use the information we get from Google Analytics to maintain and improve the Website and our products. We do not combine the information collected through Google Analytics with Personal Information we collect. Location Data

Once you download the mobile App, it will request access to your device location. When access is granted, Joby will be able to track the physical location of your device to provide the Service and improve our mobile App. You can remove the App location tracking or change the location tracking permission by adjusting your device’s privacy settings.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and transferred to your device. We use cookies to collect information to improve our Services for you. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent. The Help feature on most browsers provides information on how to accept cookies, disable cookies, or notify you when receiving a new cookie. If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some features of our Service.

Marketing Practices
